Come Hither.

A new angst one from me! *gasp* actually...it's really not, but enjoy...I had fun writing it.

Come whisper through my bleeding cracked lips
Come pour my acid into your throat
Leave all of that behind you
And love the stares they give you as you wander
Be the unwed result of bribery
So you can love yourself as well
(Love is the essence of betrayal)
Come blow dust into my drying eyes
And find tears streaking my desert face
And see my face abandoned
By all that's good and perfect
(And holy)
Come walk a mile in my calloused feet
Stub them on my conscience
And bleed them of all the imperfections
Because they are me too
And also they are of me
In the strange sense of belonging
Shunned to the point of
An outgoing irony; literally
It pains
And stains the past with a lovely hue
Of red saturation
So try to love that too
What was in you
Should be appreciated by you
And though the flow may be slow
The approval and assurance
Of it flowing out of me
(And not you, obviously)
Is enough for life's fuel
Just enough
To get through another day

I love it! For two simple reasons - it's a very well written piece and secondly because I'm feeling the exact same way! To add to that, there's no one I can talk to really about my feelings. So it's all locked up inside me and I actually feel like I'm dying.

Thanks for giving words to my feelings as well!

Hi, I stumbled onto your blog randomly. Very well done. Each detail is so... piercing (in a good way).

Think you can make it better if you put a lil more thought into some of the words you use.

Good job, mate.

i like the new template you have! it is more like the 80s or even 70s when everything seemed so laid back and so music oriented.. i don't know.. but sepia tones are always nice and nOstalgic too..

my favourite lines from the poem- the first couple of them and the last as well.

wow.

you know i wish you publish your poems- selected ones as you wish, you know. 'cause your poems are totally kick-ass amazing!

yea, keep writing. keep typing. keep living! :D
